Positioned in Pacific County from the Pacific Ocean, Cape Disappointment provides one motorboat ramp and 135 foot of dock are given on Baker Bay into the Columbia River. Starting a motorboat at state park requires among the after:
- An launch that is annual (Natural Investment Permit; or
- A yearly Discover Pass and a launch that is daily; or
- A one-day Discover Pass and a daily launch license. Yearly permits could be bought at State Parks Headquarters in Olympia, at region offices, on the internet and also at areas whenever staff can be acquired. More information are located in the Boating Program.
Cape Disappointment has 137 standard campsites, 50 full-hookup sites, 18 partial-hookup web sites with water and electricity, five hiker/biker that is primitive first come first served, 14 yurts, three cabins, one dump place, eight restrooms (two ADA) and 14 showers (four ADA). Optimum web site size is 45 legs (restricted access). Camping is available all year round.
